.223 75 grain Match HP Wolf and Pvi

AIM .223 .223

Has any one had a chance to shoot this ammo from an AR with 1 / 8 twist barrel out to 600 yards. Seems like a good deal when you compare premade match ammo to loading your own. Have missed some local across the coarse matches because did not have any ammo loaded.

The Prvi Partizan is good stuff. Personally, I won't shoot the Wolf in anything I own in any caliber except in 7.62X39 in any Eastern Bloc rifles such as the SKS and or AK. As I said though, that's a personal preference and there are those here, on G&G, that have and do shoot/use the Wolf without any problems...

Yes the 6.5 and 7.5 stuff is good.
Have you shot the Pvi .223 yet?

No I haven't, but I do have some. It looks good, condition wise, and before I bought it I'd asked similar ?'s and I was told it's good stuff. And the place I got it from sold out quickly. They've since gotten more so that tells me it's good also, that is the fact they've sold out of it and restocked then sold out and restocked again and again.

If you're still unsure, only buy a little of it, say the 200 rounds. That should be enough to get a good idea of how it is and how the firearm likes it. One firearm may love it and another may hate. Then if you and the firearm like it, buy it up and have a blast...

I have not shot the 75 grain wolf bullets because my twist rate is not fast enough, however the 55 grain ammo shoots surprisingly well. But it has to be the dirtiest ammo that has ever been massed produced. I seems like they use coal for filler. It takes 3 times as long to clean it out of my barrel and if you shoot more than 20 rounds without cleaning, the accuracy drops off considerably. Therefore, I do not use it, I have a good bit of it if I need it, but just the fact that it takes so long to get the residue out of the barrel keeps me from using it. They may use better powder in the match loads, but the match 22lr ammo is just as dirty.

I got an order of Wolf 75 grain. It shoots OK for 200 yards. My handloads still do better than wolf 75 grain. But it's a pain to load up enough ammo ( in the swellering heat of the garage ) for a match then shoot it all in one session.

I just recieved 60 rounds of Prvi Partizan 223 75 grain match. Pretty ammo. Looks likes quaility stuff because of the high degree of polishing. Hopefully equal to hand loads.
The Prvi Partizan 223 is about $11.00 box delivered. That's about $70 for regular 1-day match and I don't have to load it.
Will let you boy know the range report.
