| Senior Member | 22-250 ar Is the .22-250 too long to work as an upper? I found some upper kits in .204 ruger, but none yet in .22-250. I'll admit, I haven't done extensive searching, but I looked quite a bit and had trouble finding stuff. Thanks in advance... |

| Super Moderator ![]() | 22-250 is too long for the AR-15. It is chambered in some DSA FALs. Not sure if there is a company making AR-10s in it, but a custom place is rebarreling existing ones for that round. 22-250 basically requires an action designed for the 308 for length and strength.

| DPMS is chambering their AR10's for the .300 WSM. They also do the .308 and .243 chamberings.
