| Red dot sights Never shot a gun with one. Do you just center it in the sight ring? Doesn't the front sight show up in it also or do you center it and line it up with the front pin? |

| Senior Member | Actually, that's close but not entirely correct. With a red-dot as you move your head the point of impact remains where you see the dot. If you see the dot in the upper left corner of the sight picture, the bullet will still hit where the dot is. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but that's how all of mine seem to work. |

| Senior Member | Yup, like At4rxj said, wherever the dot is pointing, the bullet will impact (if sighted in properly). It doesn't matter where the dot apears in the scope. You sight these in like any other scope

| EO Tech is the best holosight and Aimpoint has the best red dot. I couldn't afford either so I got an Ultra Dot, so far it is accurate up to 200 yards and has proven itself honorable, its whole family holds head up with pride. Now BSA's ancestors are weeping and ashamed.
