| If limited to your 3 choices I'd pick the Armalite or the DPMS with the M4 profile. It really all depends on if you want a midlength gas system and a fixed carry handle (Armalite) or a Carbine gas system and a removable carry handle (DPMS). I'd probably go the M4 DPMS then the Armalite. Last edited by USMC; 02-26-2007 at 01:19 PM. |

| Banned | Yeah, I'd go with the M4 also. Hmm, lets see. Take a look at this KnightRider. I did a config on Del-Ton.com with their M4 rifle kit. The bolt carrier group and charging handle together, and then the carry handle. I'm not for sure, just a guess. I'm guessing your wondering about the upper though, don't worry, it's already assembled. |

| Banned | It should take you about 90 minutes or so to put together an AR lower, but yes, it's pretty simple. All you really need are a few tools(like a small hammer, pliers, a screw driver.. stuff like that). While there are certain tools that make the job easier, there not required. If you can put a model together, you can build a lower. |

| Super Moderator ![]() | I'd like a mid length handguard myself. I'd also like a 18" barrel. Guess I'm just stuck in the middle and can't be satisfied. Maybe that's why I'm out of ARs at the moment.
