| Just got my new Les Baer AR-15 204 super varmit, les sent two 5 shot test groups with it, .189 and a .225, useing hornady 32g v-max, went to the range today, tryed benchmark and varget, shot in the 4s and 5s not good. I think he built this rifle around the v-max 32, took the bullet apart 29.7g of some kind of ball powder hornady case, and a gold primer? anybody out there have his ar-15 in the 204, i need to find a load that will shoot like the factory ammo, can't shoot that at 16.50 a box of 20. |

| Can't help you with your question, but I am thinking about getting the same rifle and was wondering how well it would shoot reloads using the 32g v-max or if it was specifically meant for factory Hornady rounds. How do you like the Les Baer? Is it worth the money? Would you recommend the .204 or .223? |
