| I don't know what it could answer! I am totally lost as to why Remington has come so very late to the game with a rifle that does not provide a needed solution. The AR-15 has been designed and engineered to death by so many companies I doubt some younger shooters even associate the name Colt with the gun. It would seem to me if Remington wanted to enter the AR market they would chamber it for their new 6mm round they are trying to introduce to the market as a midpoint between the .223 and the .308 then sell their AR at a deep discount to promote the round. |

| PantherA4, I have wondered about the 10+1 deal in Kentucky too. I think its just to keep the military rifle shooting hunters happy (it is KY after all). I hunt with a 12ga slug gun (3 rounds), Muzzleloader (Uh... one round), and a bow. The ARs, AK, and FAL are just for fun. Back on the subject its not real surprising, especially with the current exchange, that Remington is marketing an AR. They make two very popular tactical/law enforcement arms, the Remington model 700 and 870. Stop just about and cruiser around here and one of the two if not both is in the trunk. |

I predict that alot of people will buy the R15 entirely due to brand-name recognition. | |
