tools for the ar build

what tools are needed to build a lower.
i will buy upper complete so that is not an issue.
i did decide to go with anti walk pins, for the fire control group. they look awful, but i have had them walk out.

Honestly? A hammer and a few screwdrivers, thats it. But, a punch set, needle nose pliers, some tape, pivot pin install tool, those will make it easier. I'd also order the spanner wrench if your going to install a collapsible stock.

No special tools needed with exception to the spanner wrench

A set of roll pin punches is nice to have, as is a spanner wrench.

Shouldn't the punch set be brass punches though? To prevent marring the pins all to hell?

There is a set of 5 roll pin punches, a screw driver, and the spanner wrench, all the pins go in left to right and come out left to right. The pivot pin detent pin can be tricky, I use a sharp pointed knife.
