| I have been shooting military M-16s and commercial ARs for decades, in conditions ranging from dusty, to tropical, to very cold. I cannot recall any malfunctions that were not cured by cycling the operating handle once, and precious few of those. I have never had to resort to the forward assist. I am more or less diligent about keeping the rifles cleaned and lubricated. Why does the AR need reliability enhancement? |
