Sabre AR-15 Rifles

I am looking into the "Precision Marksman" upper receiver. Does anyone have any experience with these? Secondly... and more (possibly) questionable... is the Sabre upper receiver compatible with ANY AR lower?

Should be. What "exactly" are you wanting? SS barrel? 16", 20"? I mean, a 16" SS barreled upper mixed with a RRA two stage trigger and a good optic is a very capable rifle. At what range are you looking to reach out to?

This upper receiver is exactly what I am looking for in a 6.5 Grendel.

The question I am asking is .... will this upper fit on any pre-ban lower?

Oh, 6.5. Yeah, as far as I know the only problem you should ever have is when dealing with some of the Colt stuff.

... With the take down pin holes, correct?

I have a PWA lower receiver... and putting this "Precision Marksman" upper receiver would "cure what ails me" ... and in addition, give me an optic I can put on top of my M-14 when I'd like...

Did you ever finish any of the two lower receivers you acquired?

Not yet. I've put DPMS lower parts kits in both of them. One has a MIAD grip, the other has a Hogue grip. I'll probably order 2 Armalite 6 position stocks. At $56 each you can't beat that considering they come with mil spec tubes.

Are they both going to be 5.56 or are you looking into other calibers?

I'm keeping my "carbine" 5.56 upper and purchasing that 6.5 Grendel Precision Marksman upper... giving myself options.

I don't know for sure. I'm really really interested in building up a 7.62x39 AR, especially since C-Products is going to start shipping 30 round mags within the next month.

This is how I'm using the money I get from Uncle Sammy : Sabre Defence :: Commercial

I'll also use the scope on my M-14 ...
