| I love AR's, but.... There gonna kill my bank account. Just ordered two mil spec Armalite stock kits, two Magpul winter trigger guards, a Daniel Defense RH end plate, and a single point sling, cost me $220. Not that bad I guess, the stock kits are actually a really good deal. Only $56 per kit....

| Yep. Sounds like a bad case of BRD.

| Here is the link: M15 CARBINE BUTTSTOCK KIT, BLACK As far as I know this is supposed to include everything. The only two parts that have me worried are the end plate and castle nut because they are not listed. However, I'm planning on putting Daniel Defense end plates on anyways, and it's not like the castle nuts are expensive. This is the best deal I've found yet.

| The pic shows it with those parts, but who knows. If you don't mind, please post an update when you get it (or at least pm me). If that does come with everything I'm going to order a few up

| Pred ...does anyone really care? Just another unimportant problem. I do, however, feel your pain. I have a case of Garandits. Now I feel a S/S heavy barrel M1A "bug" comming on.

| If they leave out the end plate and the castle nut I would be shocked.

| Just make sure to order the kit. Cause I know you'll need another tube and I'm thinking a different buffer. Maybe the spring also. I'll have to check and see but I know there is a difference between an A2 buffer then a carbine buffer. However since I've never looked into an A2 stock I can't say for sure. Maybe USMC knows.

| You'll need a new spring and buffer too. I switched over from an A2 to a carbine length tube. |

In the last two weeks I bought and EO Tech, Vltor E Mod stock, Mil spec Vltor stock assembly, and hundreds of rounds of ammo. That doesn't count the brand new Glock 19, 9mm ammo, night sights, and holster. I know EXACTLY how you feel. The money has run out and now I have to count coins again, darn. ![]()

| Yeah, but now that means I've got to buy 2 M16 BCG's, two uppers, and optics. I'm thinking one upper will be a M4 profile 1x7 flat top. The second one has me scratching my head though. I've thought about an A2 Commando upper, would be kind of cool.

| I'll tell you what I am slowly building, an IDF clone. I am getting everything used and cheap. Just a good, simple, straight shooter. You can find a good A1 upper receiver for like 60-70 bucks. I have seen decent carbine barrels for for around a hundred. I am going for this look here ![]()

| One of these builds will be kept simple. Iron sights, nothing special so I don't have to spend $100's on optics and iron sights. I may just build two M4 uppers. The second being just like I said.

| The A2 buttstock vs Collapsible buttstock has a different tube, spring, and buffer. With the collapsible one, you will also need the castle nut and an end plate. You come out ahead if you get a kit vs buying it all individually.
