| AR pistol questions I've been doing some research, but have been unable to find the correct answers... What is involved in building an AR pistol (legality wise) I know you have to use a virgin lower. Do you have to tax stamp and paper it like an SBR? Is there any difference between a pistol and an SBR besides for the lack of a stock and vertical foregrip? Can you legally buy a short barreled upper for a pistol build?
