Cabela's has a three piece digital camo furniture set for 99.00. They also have heat shrinkable camo kits. I ran into the same problem recently, and here's how I fixed it. I bought a vinyl rain poncho at Walmart for 5.00 on clearance in real tree hard woods and took 3M spray adhesive and applied the best looking part of the poncho on the hand guard, grip, the stock, and the mag housing and mags. Took and sprayed it with Poly Acrylic. The I knocked down the sheen with Krylon Matte finish. It looks great but don't tell Pred. I also put it on my 200 Stevens .308, and my Mav 88. Now they all match. It took a weekend to do.

Done right, the right camo looks good on almost anything. The best option I've seen for AR's is the moly coating using the available stencils for whatever pattern you want. Good luck! Comments like that are what make ppl go elsewhere...

That looks pretty cool if I do say so myself. I like that Duracoat stuff. A wide range of options and it wears very well from what I've seen and heard. Check out the bolt on this bad boy. lol I like it I like it. ![]() You know, I might have to send a firearm to him and have this done. I have one, that has this spot in the finish, that's just bugs the crap out of me every time I see it. I haven't a clue what caused it, other than the holster, but it's hardly been in it but a few times. I'm religious about taking care of my stiff, no matter what it is, so in the case of firearms, even pellet guns, I wipe them down regularly. So I haven't a clue where this little mark came from. Its there though. I just hate the thought of being without my baby for a month or so. lol But I'm going to call him/them and see how busy they are and find out the cost. I don't want anything extravagant, maybe just a nice dark finish on it or something. That will be the hard part, deciding on which finish if I decide to do it. lol Looks like they do great work there though. HMM, only about 161 miles from me. A couple hour drive.

I'm still laughing. Heck, just get some paint and some pictures and do it yourself. Use spray paint. If you brush it on, that'd really be redneck.
