just curious..friend from work is selling eotech 512 i believe...seems good condition....150$...good price?..thanks

here's a picture of my ar with it...didnt think it would take up the whole rail..but i think it looks pretty cool...don't understand how the n/v works..but i haven't really looked into that yet...cant wait to shoot...my buddy does 3 gun compititions and says that people have eotechs..and dont do that well shooting @ 100 yards..

That sight isnt made for long range accuracy, its made for fast target acquisition and engagement.

The NV is to toggle it to the Night Vision compatible mode, so if you drop the few grand needed to get a decent set of NV goggles you will still be able to look through the scope and see your holographic target ring.

Well, a new NV capable EOTech that takes AA batteries runs almost $500... btw, you suck...

Now if I can only get my Dad to go pick up that 1500-2000 rounds of free 9mm ammo. Then maybe I would feel a little better....

Is this a real Eotech? Perhaps it is just an older model but the buttons on the back of it don't look like the buttons I have seen on the current model. Anyone else notice this?

I'd say it's a few years old. No one is going to pay $400+ for something, keep it 6 months, and sell it for $150.
