| it looks like it has alot of power and it also comes with a kawasaki engine.i was comparing it to all the others and it was only second to the polaris. but the polaris has a really bis price tag on it i mean raelly big.lol. i went to the john deere place by my house and the guy there had a demo he wanted to sell me with a front and back trailer hitch and a winch and the role bar .get this the list price for them was 8700.00 and he was going to sell that one to me for 6000.00 .just because it was a demo oh and it had the off road tires on it too. they was going to leave all the goodies on it just to get it sold.lolthey had dressed it out with all the goodies and put it out on the showroom floor for peopel too see and drive. i'm still thinkin the deal over the wife will be madd and will probably want to leave me .lol. but hell my neck is not getting any betterand i have a feeling my walking days are soon comming to an end but i can't tell her that because verytime i tell her about my pain she just says oh you complain to much(go figure) .i don't complain to much most of the time i go walk without saying a word about my pain because the woods are quiet and they relax me there is too much noise in my house and i need to go into the woods everyday just to get away from things.we get alot of rain down here and we can't go walk for days at a time so i figure if i get this thing atleast me and the wife can go ride to the woods when its wet or if i'm hurtin we can still have our little getaway.with my neck a 4 wheeler is out of the question well i think i rambled on enough sorry!!!lol |

| Looks like a good prospect. I don't have any disabilities and I still want one. I'm sure doing things with her using it would help her to appreciate it.

| Unlike tandem ATVs, you could make out riding in it.

| the 6x4 has no rear shocks the hpx has a rear susspension system. the 6x4 relys on the tires for its shocks. |

I was saying that I wanted such a vehicle even though I didn't have a disability to specific reason to need one.

| Great link, Ox! If only they made four seaters, it would be the perfect excursion vehicle.

| OK My two cents worth for you here. I have driven the 4x4 and the 6x4 Gators, the former are more comfortable and easier to get around in. Unless you need the extra load cap. the 4x4 is a decent ride. Kawasaki makes a similar vehichle called a Mule. and Kubota and Cub Cadet also make variation of the Gator. Check with your local dealers to see who has a better service dept. If you aren't brand concious, I would go with the 4x4 Gator based on parts availability, thou the cost is rather high. My personal experiance puts the Kubota high on the list as the most reliable. Get a used one first to see if you like it. The resale value stays pretty much the same with each of these machines. We used to use them for our crop damage deer blinds. Good luck with your choice.

| You'r certainly welcome. From what I've read the Deere has a suspension problem which may be a concern to some potential customers. But hey...every vehicle has some pluses and minuses. Go with what you can afford that does the job that you're facing. There's not any perfect vehicles.
