Beretta 92 FS discontinued?

Hi!

I heard that Beretta will discontinue the production of the 92 FS? Do you know anything about that? Is it true?

Yes, they are discontinuing the production of the 92FS. They are making a new model, the 670-2 or something like that. The lady at the shop said it is the exact same thing. I'll have to ask the lady again at the shop what she said. But yes, they are discontinuing it. She said she isn't fond of Beretta as a company, as they only provide a 90-day warranty. She aid one time, they had a big issue with Beretta one time when trying to get a slide replaced....it was one of their in-store guns, not a customers. Long story, but she told it and I agreed with her that they were full of the floating brown stuff....

90 two is how they named it. One is numeric the other aint. So obviously it will have to have a nickname so it can be identified more easily. I got the impression the 90two was Berettas attempt the keep the pistol up to date so it remains a top choice for the military.
