| Beretta 8045 Is it safe to use +P ammo? I have a Beretta Cougar 8045 Model F (full-sized .45 ACP). I think that the manual says not to use "+P" ammo in it's barrel but I cannot find any info stating Yes or No. Got any ideas or links? Thanks, |

| Senior Member ![]() | Never use P ammo unless it FULLY states that it is HP and can accept HP loads.. Scary stuff will happen.. Just saw your CZ on your avatar...sweet finish on that..did you do something to it? Parkerization? or just good lighting? |

Ok, thanks for the HP note, I suspected that it'll not be happy with a full diet of HP loads. CZ-52: Got it as advertised with original finish, i.e. not rearsenaled. It's untouched, the finish that is. Only change was to add a 2 lb. higher new main spring (slide). Paul (BartSr) | |
