Stolen Beretta 303 found but sawed off, need help!!!

I found this on a popular local website here in Louisiana. There are some real jokers on that site so I thought I would post his plead here since there are knowledgeable people on this site. Im gonna send him a link so he can follow the post. I don't know him, just want to help.

well about 6mounths ago i posted about my house being broke into and my grandfathes beretta 303 stolen.he passed in 1991.well the neibors 16year old son stole it and they sent him off to reform school.no gun well they found it under his barn today he sawed off barrel and sawed but to a pistol grip.this sob ruiened a priceless gun.i hope he is getting rerended now.well if any one knows where i can get a replacement barrel and new butt please let me know. chris"

If he is talking about an A-303...Not a priceless Gun...300-500 for a Mint one.. If an NRA member , the Insurance will cover it with a police report, or Some Homeowners policies will cover it.
Parts may still be available from Beretta, so I would contact the US Distributor and ask them.

If he sawed the barrel to less than 18" the guy had better have the punks parents return it to him disassembled - not real sure that would do it. I would suggest pitching the sawed off barrel into the nearest lake if it is under 18" then looking for a replacement barrel and stock. Look here Beretta A301/302/303 Shotgun Barrels*&!@#%|*&!@#%e-GunParts.com .
