got to get my beretta today

this m92 isn't like anyother m92 I've ever seen. this was given to me from a friend who had a friend who was in operation desert shield. this one was made in Egypt, here's the markings:
right side, serial no. 1143799, nest to the grips ar the letters C.A.I. St. Alb. VT.
left side:
Helwan Cal 9mm para
made in Egypt
by MAADI Co.

with that said, how do I strip one of these things down for cleaning?

Neat! I was looking at a Helwan from a guy my dad knew a while back who said he would give me a "good deal" on it. He paid 80 bucks years back so when he looked on gunbroker recently he decided he couldn't sell it to me for less than 350. I had to pass. But I did get to shoot it and liked it quite a bit except for the trigger slap his was giving me. Congrats! Mind if I ask what you paid?

yeah I got this in a trade for My marshall AVT 100 guitar amp, plus there was an xtra $300 thrown in along with the helwan. Reason I traded my amp was I didn't want to bring to the uk, too much to ship it so I sold it and here I am my first pistol

LOL. It's cool. I don't care for it too much either. But, it was cheap with decent sound. Perfect buy for me when it was all I could afford as I was 16 and making pizzas to get it! Good luck with the Helwan let us know how it goes Sunday! Don't forget to take some pics!

Nice looking pistol. I just built my first guitar (a Stratocaster modeled after Clapton's "Blackie" See here for exact look: http://www.skylinesongs.com/Strat_2.jpg).

My only other amp was a junk 35W amp that I got a few years ago, so I decided to get a nice amp to do my guitar justice.

I chose this one:

It's a Fender Frontman 212R 100W 2x12 Guitar Combo Amp. The highest I ever play it at is about setting 4 out of 10...it's really loud, but has great clean sound for the glassy tone of the strat, and awesome drive sound as well.

Didn't mean to hijack your thread

Nice pistol mm.

My dad will pass down his 92 to me someday he says. I'm obviously not in a hurry to get it.
