| Magazine experiment I finally invested in a 40 S&W mag for my 92 fs. I have been told over & over again that by loading 9 mm into the 40 mag, I in effect will have a hi-cap mag. Well, after 1st attempt, I was able to fit 14 rounds. Fit in the gun is a bit tight, but I'll bet after a few loads & unloads, that will break in. The big test is the weekend when I discover if it's reliable. Any experience w/ this out there?

| Well, as I understand the law, as long as I make no modifications to the mag & the mag can still be used as originally intended, I'm okay...even tho the original plan was for these mags hold more than ten & the gov't forced manufacturers to modify their mags so that only 10 could be loaded into them  ...but I digress

| I use the 40 mags primarily for range & IDPA use. My pre ban 15 rounders I use in my house / carry guns. Since the prebans are gettting tougher & tougher to find (esp. here in CA), I needed to find a way to preserve them.

| Put 250 rounds (200 fmj, 50 jhp) w/o a hitch!! Good enough for range use!
