New Bersa Shooter Needs Help

Hi, guys. There's a new member that is having a serious problem with his Bersa Thunder .380 - the safety lever broke when he was shooting it. Here is the link to his post in General Handguns:

http://www.gunandgame.com/forums/gen...tml#post660414 (Need Advice - Just bought used pistol / broken)

When I searched to see if I could find the part he'll need to get it repaired, I found very little. Perhaps you folks who shoot Bersa regularly have better sources for gun parts?

Anyway, read the post and see if you can help him out.

tech talk.
A bersa gun smith answers the questions posted in this section.
If you bought your bersa new you have a lifetime warranty. Worse thing that can happen is you send the gun in for free warranty work. You only pay to ship it to the selected shop.
Also check out the forum. Amazing info and how to's on all bersa guns.

Check out this place.
Colorado Gun Works: Home
They are a warranty shop for Bersa/Firestorm firearms.

Please write or type a letter explaining the problem. Make sure to include a physical address and phone number. Dis-assemble the firearm like you were going to clean it. Wrap the parts separately to prevent damage in shipping, and place them all in one box.
Address the box to:
CGW
2631 W. Vine Drive
Ft. Collins, CO 80521

This prevents the word gun from being on the outside of the box and inviting unwanted attention. Take it to UPS or FED EX and ship it as PARTS! This will save you money, and is in no way a violation of any law. Shipping handguns overnight is a company policy to make it tougher and more expensive for you and it is not fair. Use our directions and you will save money and time.
If you have any further questions regarding shipping your firearm in for warranty repair, call (970)482-4867 and talk to Royce.
