From Russia With Love

Hello everyone! I am very glad I am a member of this forum already!!!!
I am from Russia! We do have wonderful places for hunting and fishing here! Besides, as far as I know, there are lots of foreigners, coming here every hunting season!
The closest season will be in the middle of April! We are getting ready for it!
So, if there are anyone interested in stories about such adventures in Russia, please leave me replies! I am looking forward to find new friends in this field! :-)

Hello again!! :-)
Well, actially I am not a hunter, but very interested in it! I got a chance to observe one deer hunting which was held in Russia, Tverskaya region (if anyone knows). I have to say this is amazing! Still I am very sorry for the animals, but now understand what it is like to get your wanted trophy!
So, if anyone is interested in hunting in Russia, you are welcome to leave a reply! I will be glad to chat to you!!!!

Welcome! I believe you are our first Russian member!

I saw a hunting program on TV recently, showing the men duck hunting in Russia. I can't remember what part of Russia, but the hunting was superb!
Many birds in huge flocks, well managed. It looked like a wonderful vacation opportunity.

Welcome! You'll find many of us here love Russian made and Russian designed guns. The Samozariadnia Karabina Simonov (SKS), Avtomat Kalashnikov (AK), and Dragunov autoloading rifles are well loved, as is the much older Mosin Nagant.

I myself am a huge fan of the currently Russian produced Saiga rifles and shotguns based on the AK-100 series action.

Welcome - Hunting in Russia? Sounds like a nice vacation! I hear it is difficult to bring your own gun though.

Dosvidania tovarich Thats the extent of my russian, but I do enjoy my Mosin -Nagant and Siminov's
Maybe you could describe from what region your from,( urals, ukrain, moscow ) and what state your living in in now! I've got a Scottish brother in-law living next door, I've already taken him to the range and he's well pleased with our gun laws over here. He is x-military and could not get a gun without SERIOUS paperwork. :right: :right:

Sorry Android and Tirs, thought you guys were in the states, my fault!
I get isolationists sometimes
I've never heard or known, Do you get to have conceiled carry or long guns?
Many permits involved?
I'd like to know. do you get to go out and shoot when you feel like it? or do you have to belong to a "club", and they keep firearm There?
