Tried the Winchester power points this weekend. They shot great from my 870 smoothbore slug gun. Long live the Foster slug. These will be in my gun come November

rdnckhntr,

Do you use the Foster slugs by Remington? What barrel choke combo do you use?

modified choke is the best they say to use i have a choke that u just need to twist it to change what it is. its all the chokes in one but modifies seems the way to go

Ok, that makes a bit more sense. Definitely use whatever choke works best. I do believe from experience, the tighter the choke the heavier the percieved recoil.
