Oklahoma Muzzleloading Season Opener 10-27-07

Fall weather has set in here in northern Oklahoma and the muzzleloading season opens this weekend, am packed and ready to go, get excited every year at this time, i have always anticipated rifle season and this is my 1st year with the muzzle loader, am looking very forward to it, the deer herds seem to be plentiful from what i have seen, and have managed to score every year during rifle season, so there is a great possibility with the muzzle loader.

It is cold out here right now two-70 and I'll be glad when modern gun Deer season gets here.
Our Muzzeloader season opened for 1 week and it closed this past Sunday, but will reopen again later, when I don't know.
The weather is perfect for hunting right now and I haven't been going like I use to because I hurt the small of my back last week and I'm just now getting better.
Good Luck with the muzzeloader...A.H

Everything is still so green here I haven't seen any deer movement in a while. Although we did get a light frost about 2 nights ago. The cooler weather should help out quite a bit. The persimmons will start dropping shortly. Anyway good luck to you.

About 12 miles from Sooner Lake, between Pawnee and Ralston.
