the moral issues raised would be overshadowed by images of bongos and fajitas.

Fietas, bongos, and bigfoot dressing aside, I would rather go withDan22,s idea. If my family is not going hungry or he does not present a threat then he can walk on by.

Ok, lets just say he was rootin' up your alfalfa field. Or gettin into your chicken coops. Or if he kept breaking in your barn and stealing all your slip joint pliers? Would you shoot him then?

No, no, you guys have the wrong idea.

If I remember correctly the people who think we could reason with the terrorists in Iraq evidently know how to handle these situations.

Bigfoot would be putty in their hands. Might even get him to go on Oprah.

Caliber... you will never get a shot, your scope would be blurry as heck, a claymore would work better (the explosive not the sword).

O.K. if he was destroying my crops , livestock, and property then I would have to stop him. I would use a 45-70.

Can't believe people want to kill Bigfoot.

What's next, Bambi, Thumper, Rocky and Bullwinkle?

Seriously, I'd love to see a BF captured, if it does exist. Check him out, do the tests and then let the poor thing go back to it's family.

Anybody think about using a 12ga. 1 3/8 Oz. Slug? That would take down a pretty darn big target. He's supposed to be like half a ton right?

Thats the spirit, Windwalker! I would think a cabernet would be nice. Maybe a chianti with his liver.

That would be the 13x92SR Mauser 1918 T.u.F. Gewehr, nathangdad. They weighed about 35 lbs, and had a bad habit of breaking the shooter's collar bone or dislocating his shoulder. But I guess that was preferable to being run over by a tank...

Here's the only decent picture I could find of one:

if big foot was smart enough to take the pliers, then he probably has his own guns too. Starting to sound like that coyote hunting seniors? Just another thing to hide from, maybe have to put mine fields around the nurseing homes.
