That's a Pronghorn Antelope, usually called "speed goats". They are native to the U.S.A. found in the Plains and southwestern parts of the country.

technically it's not an antelope, it's the last surviving member of the family Antilocapridae.

Please tell me you no longer eat lutefisk. Some of my family still eat it as a traditional meal during the Holidays. Uff da!

When served I usually stick to the bacon, sauce and potatoes, which is the common side dish.

No, not yet. But in Sweden there are some 100-150.000 wild boars, so we are waiting for them!!

I sell Cannon trolling gear in my shop too. I have one mounted on one of my smaller boats. Hope to set up a 22 footer next year, with "everything"!

We have some huge brownies in the lake here. Salmo Trutta up to 40 Lbs! Never met one... But here are some pics from a trolling competition I sponsored in May:

Off topic?? Not at all!! Half the fun with moose hunting is waiting for the season to open. And one has to find SOMETHING to do in the meantime...

No, muskie is an American species. Ours is the European pike. Some places in Russia they get up to 60-70 lbs. Around here 30-50 is rare. More common we get them from 6 - 30 lbs. Lots of bones, but the white meat is delicious! I use them to make fish cakes but also for soup.

We have Northern Pike and it's very good but one has to know how to clean it properly due to the bones.

We had pike for dinner yesterday!

Anyways, I edited together this video for my diving club. I didn't film it, but I was at least there. These mothers are about 20 lbs + each...

Nice video. I like big fish. So, while we're waiting for moose season to open, here's a couple of little friends I found while working yesterday. They are now at a friends home, being raised until they can go to a veterinary clinic that readjusts these animals into the wild. Cute. My wife almost kept one here.

Here's some flathead catfish. They get upwards of 70lbs. Not good eating at that weight though. These were between 20 and 30lbs. One from Texas and the other from home.

Counting down for moose season!

-Here's our "Moose puller" ready for action. We bought it used, and just recently transported it up to our hunting cabin.

I've also made a few strolls through the terrain. It's very rugged! It would be a cool place to hunt moose alone, but that's not likely to happen. Maybe only if we'd have some extra animals added to our quota later in the season.

I'll be hunting birds (opens Sept. 10th) before moose season opens, so maybe I'll get to take a few pictures around there too soon!
