Updated the blogs to work with the server software. Since the company that originally made it no longer supports it, I had to do a bit of programming, but it was fun.


Working on a gun wiki for G&G. It's a work in progress to say the least.

Also working on a "Tagging" feature, and a who quoted you module. So if someone quotes you it informs you.

Looking at the forums, I was noticing a cluster of forums on the main page. Often times, I have to look at things from a "new user". While members, including myself get used to the way things are, I have to find new ways to make things easier. Sometimes users, such as yourself, make suggestions, and I try them out on a private site. Just to give you an idea, I have 4 versions of the site on a different part of the server, and I have 4 different layouts, connections speeds and I test...

I was recently informed of some tragic news, that a friend and very active member of Gun and Game is no longer with us. I was in shock at first. Mike or ArkansasHunter as he was known on the site was a pretty vocal member. He had no issue telling you like it was, and was always in for pulling one's leg. At the same time he always showed compassion for others in his postings.

For more than 7 years here on Gun and Game, the usertitles have remained the same. Seeing the same usertitle such as Senior Members and Members wasn't that descriptive. I went through a few ideas of new usertitles, and I think I came up with some basic ones.

If you are under 99 posts right now the usertitle will be:
Firearm Zealot

If you have over 100 posts your usertitle will be:
Firearm Enthusiast
