ok if you dont know 4-H has shooting competitions on county state and national levels well in state pistol they put optics and iron sight shooters together and pick the top 3 to go to nationals ( i think thats how its done ) i placed 4th overall 2 days later at work my dad comes up to me and tells me that my 4-H director called and said that i was going to nationals !!!! 
its next June and although were not sure we think its going to be either in nebraska or pensylvania either way im going north !

Thats great. I thought they had quit having marksmanship training. I'm glad they didn't. Good luck when you do go. Take some cockleburrs with you. You can sell them to yankee city folk as porcupine eggs. lol

Some folks will believe anything! Congrats! I don't think they do that, in every state, my kids never got to compete. They went from 4H to FFA, and never saw any shooting competitions.Posted 07-24-2008 at 09:36 AM by Seabeescotty -
