Why I Love Gun and Game

The people.
Straight up, it's the people. I love going through random threads looking for keywords, and all I find is a real community. I've seen some posts where a "newbie" will ask a question and an "senior" member will give the answer. It's awesome to see people help each other, but it goes beyond that. Later in the thread you can see the "newbie" starting to interact and joke with the other users. It's like being the new kid on the playground, and someone takes the social risk of playing with you and looking less "cool".
My personal experience is when I posted about going on a blind date, I didn't just get 1 or 2 responses, there were several pages to go through. It didn't stop there, there was even someone who followed up the week after the date and wanted an update.
This is what makes the site more than just some random website....it makes it a living breathing community.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh...feel the love

i remember being that newbie too, almost 5 yrs ago. and i still dont consider myself a senior member. i have been deployed and all kinds of stuff since i joined this site. but i still look at every one of these guys and gays as family. they wont steer you wrong. they arent here to screw you. everybody generally wants to help you.Posted 10-24-2009 at 05:14 PM by YugoM59/66

G&G Forums is great...
...not only because of the interesting and informative gun and game info sharing, and the comradely we share together, but also and more importantly because members at large recognize and appreciate the direct connection there is between our 2nd Amendment rights and all our other rights, liberties and freedoms.
One right taken away takes away from the others...
...until we're left empty-handed and in serious trouble.
Thanks to those who have the courage and commitment to stand up and speak out for freedom...
...and for our rights and liberties.Posted 11-02-2009 at 11:06 PM by LiveToShoot

I love this site. Reading and seeing people's personalities come through in the way they write. Doesn't seem to be anybody here who knows so much they aren't eager to both learn and share knowledge. Don't know about the others, but this site is like therapy for me! THANK YOU CHRIS.Posted 11-10-2009 at 03:54 PM by G. Green
