Getting close

So...here is an update..from an earlier entry.

This young lady and I have always had a rocky relationship. I always had a crush on her I think. I just was attracted to her. Well for the last month or two we have gotten really close and we both sorta have feelings for each other...but don't need a relationship at the moment. We spend quite a bit of time with each other, and it's really special when we hang out.

She told me today and she was transferring to a school that is about an hour and half a way. She asked me how I felt about that...
I didn't know what to say. I told her I felt like Wilbur did in Charlotte's Web when he realized Charlotte wasn't coming home.
She currently goes to a private school where it costs 30k a year to attend. She has attended 3 years so far..and with her one remaining decides to go elsewhere. The main factor being money and she is deciding to give up a major scholarship she has.

I felt like I was losing my best friend, and it really hurts.
Everyone thinks their "lady" friend is special...and I have to say this one really is.

I guess I'm torn at the moment because maybe I feel like I'm letting someone really awesome out of my life when I don't want to.

At least I have this awesome place.
