The night before.

Somehow, the week has gone by quite fast. Maybe it's because I changed my routine and played my DS instead of using my laptop at work. (My job is a joke.) Or it could because my main gun buddy wasn't at work the past two days because of a sick kid. Either way, its Thursday night and I only have one day of work left.

My check list of things to do before we leave tomorrow is not bad.

1) Put dog bowls in a bag. I bought a small bag of food for them so thats already in the car.

2) Cloths are all packed and since only staying the weekend, its a very small suitcase. Even with my woman's stuff.

3) Taking my laptop to work so it'll be all packed there. Taking it for the spreadsheet and got the digital camera in there.

4) DS is all already in the car.

5) During a break tomorrow, going to unhook my sub and with a friend, move it to the end of the trunk for easy lifting when I get home. Yes, Those subs have been in my car for nearly five years. This has shown the woman how important my guns are to me.

I'm leaving work at 4pm then stopping to top off my car. Going to take the dogs out to crap and then let them eat while I pack those few things. I did buy a new gun case at Wal-Mart tonight for $12. A nice black hard case normal length. I don't know if it was sad or funny to see people do double takes as they caught sight of me carrying the gun case. What a flock of sheep.

So, with my two cases in Iowa and this one, I should easily be able to bring the 7-9 guns that I want to bring. I only have a couple rifles that aren't just a straight stock so I should be able to stick like the Mosin and Enfield together easy.

I'm just a tad worried that I'll need to go buy a couple containers to spread out my ammo so I can actually lift them and carry them.

Time to hit the shower and bed. I'm trying to hold back the excitement until the end of tomorrow. I'm gonna have to try not to go 10 over the speed limit, would hate to get a speeding ticket on such a joyous weekend.
