Hot Coffee+ Arkansas summmer

Posted 07-30-2008 at 12:03 PM by iflylow74
I love my morning coffee. In fact I admit, Im an addict.
But it sure is hard to drink something hot when its 103 outside!!!
An no, theres no way I will drink iced coffee!!
NASTY!!!!!!!

But I simply must have my morning caffeine fix.

I wonder if they make a caffeine injection or IV??

Seabeescotty makes TAR coffee,so I pour 1/2 cup then the rest with water just to be able to drink it.But I love my coffee alot in the mornings.

I'd rather drink it than have a needle in me-I want to taste it...!!!

Sounds like me and Seabee make the same kinda coffee. If you can't chew it, then its not strong enough!!

You just might have a good idea there-chewing gum that's made with coffee with the caffeine to get you going...!!! I would buy it..

My Grandpa wore long-sleeve work-shirts(with an undershirt) and drank hot black coffee all day. He did it 365 days a year. He never seemed to get hot. He would sweat a little in the Hot GA summers, but never as much as the rest of us. I always thought he had figured out some odd Zen technique. Oh yeah his coffee was like burnt motor oil.

Yeah jimkim, people from that generation were tough as nails!! My dad said he remembers my grandpa carrying 2 bushels of corn on each shoulder like it was nothing.

CGO, there is a such thing as caffeine gum. I only drink coffee every few months or so, and that's only when I'm bored. I like to drink water or orange juice if I'm drinking something in the morning. Don't get me wrong, I like coffee, but I am just not addicted to it.

Nope. It tastes like mint. Unless you go to the Asian market snack aisles and get their coffee gum. Then again you won't be able to read the package. Just look at the picture and hope it's what you're looking for lol.

Yep, I love that stuff, hot and strong, thick enough to stand a spoon in. I wouldn't know how to act, if I didn't get my coffee. I learned to drink it, standing mid watches, in the 'Bees. I ran a crew, so never got the easy watches, just the ones when the crazies come out. I always wanted to be sure I was wide awake, when they'd show up, whether alone, or under escort. Yep, I love my coffee!

You could almost say that's why they call people in the Navy tars! But the fact is, they used a bit of tar, to keep their hair back. Kind of a strange ponytail kind of affair! "Them jolly tars, on wooden ships..."
