I like beer.

My last post was about coffee and its too damn hot here in Ark. to enjoy it.
The perfect solution, beer of course!!
Im watching a show on The History Channel about how they make it. Now I want one. And I dont have any.
I love me some beer. Not the kind of love where I set and drink until I forget my name.
No, I like to enjoy a good ice cold beer. Mmmmm
I used to be a Bud Light man. I figured dark beer was nasty. Boy was I wrong.
Now, I love me a good cold Kilean Irish Red, or a Guinness Stout or my favorite, Sam Adams.
Mmmmmm. My Irish blood is lusting for a cold one now....

| | It ain't regular American beer. They will definitely sneak up on you if you don't mind out. Especially the Hefebier. My favorite is Weihenstephaner Hefe Weissbier I copied that I cant ever remember how to spell it. I think Sam Adams might make a Doppelbock(Double Bock). |

| | I like beer, it makes me a jolly good fellow, It helps me unwind, and sometimes it nakes me feel mellow, As a matter of fact, I LOVE beer! I like almost any beer, 'cept Colorado Coolaid. It used to be good, til they expanded, and started sending iit all over the world. Now it has a bad habit of going bad, and tasting like a skunk smells! I tried every local brew I could, while in Scotland, and the Irish could learn a lesson or three, from their cousins, about brewing, except for the Guiness. But the Guiness made in the US pales, compared to the stout they serve in Ireland and Scotland! Now that stout is to die for! |

| | MMMMMM... scotty you are right, the Guiness, direct from St. James Gate is to DIE for! That is some good stuff. Just chillin at the house beer for me is Bud Select or Miller Lite. If I am drinkin with a meal, I like to get myself some Fat Tire, or even some Hefewiesen like Jimkim. Damn it I am at work on a freakin SATURDAY AND I WANT A BEER!!! That is it, I am going home and stopping at the Class Six on the way!!! |

| | Yeah USAF is using my other choice. I flipped a coin. Who is gonna use TJ Jackson and Marse Robert now? Or maybe John Hunt Morgan, Lew Armistead, or John S. Mosby. I once told Peggy if she had been a boy her name would have been either Jacob Henry Kimmons or James Ewell Brown Stuart Kimmons. She said "Boy, I'm glad I was a girl." lol |

| | ^ lol Jimkim I don't think ANYONE should use Marse Robert, that would just be blasphemy!!! Hell, I would even be iffy about TJ "Stonewall" Jackson! You know fellas, I may be from Ohio, but I think I would have had a hard time back then choosin sides, knowing what I know now. And just to be clear, I AIN'T talkin about slavery! Ol' Tom Berenger (aka-Longstreet from Gettysburg) got it right when he said, "We should have freed the slaves, THEN fired on Fort Sumter." Come to think of it, I could write a whole blog on this very subject... but I digress... |

| | Thats funny. I looked at Generals Lee and Jackson and thought the same thing. I think the only one on here that could use one of those is Rich (Mooseman684 for those that dont know) and I'm not even sure about him using Gen. Lee. They are definitely among our MOST HALLOWED leaders/symbols/people/legends. |

| | Im surprised someone hasn't used Gen Lee or Stonewall Jackson. For that matter, Im surprised some of our northern friends haven't used andy Union generals as avatars. |

| | I was named after my great- uncle, who was named after Gen. Lee. Kind of a southern namesake sorta thing. I thought about using Marse Robert, but that was long ago, and I decided the avatar that Marine1 sent me was the one I should stick with. That is my history, and I have always felt honored, to have had the privilege of serving my country. So, I guess I'll leave it at that. |

| | I guess Im a dummy, I haven't heard of Marse Robert. |

| | I just googled Marse Robert and found out its R.E. Lee's nickname. I learned something today!! |
