This really burns my buns!!! These backstabbing turncoats tell us that a tax holiday wouldn't help us!!!!! Then they turn around and give themselves one!!!!! This should be in every newspaper in the country. They saved 40 cent per gallon since march. Do the math. Would that have helped you???
"They have been getting the tax-free gas since March. They've also been using the city's car washes."

"Are they serious? Obama has had strong criticism for the idea and efficacy of a gas tax holiday, referring to it as a gimmick. Further, his campaign questioned whether Minnesota Governor would support a gas tax holiday, citing financial losses to infrastructure funds as a result of it."

| | Funny that the people using tax free gas are probably the ones that don't need it most. I like the quote at the end of the 2nd article. "It's usually better for people to think within the box. The proverbial box is there for a reason." |

| | Never in my life have I seen a sorrier bunch of individuals than the Senate and House(both parties). I worked at the jail so that is saying something. WE the PEOPLE of the UNITED STATES are suffering and dieing and they are too busy bickering to do anything about it. sor·ry adj. 1. Feeling or expressing sympathy, pity, or regret: 2. Worthless or inferior; paltry: . 3. Causing sorrow, grief, or misfortune; grievous. Definitions 2 and 3 apply what do you think? |

| | We need to kick 'em all out, and start over again! Start with Pelosi, and move on through the House, and Senate, and clean both houses! I'm sick and tired of hearing about the perks they vote in for themselves, along with their inflated raises, every time they go to session! We the people need to step in, and explain that they don't deserve any pay, period, until they start doing the work of the people! |
