I`m still shooting. I was at my local shop on saturday to get some tips about renewing my firearms licence ( the long arm licence, I gotta have a separate licence for hand guns ) and I asked about a Ruger African.

There`s 2 left handed jobs in stock in 375 Ruger.. Oh my..

I finally found a few minutes to get to the indoor range and fire one of my handguns.

To keep my handgun licence, I need to participate a minimum of 6 times a year in officially recognised competitions.

I`ve not fired either of them since august last year. So, yesterday I found time. Also, I found that the range had some WinClean .357 mag! YAY!!!

The world wide shortage seemed to have eased enough for us to get some. Fearing it won`t last I bought 6...

I have not fired my rifles this year.

I`ve been craving a Leupold VX-L for my Savage VLP.. Plan is to whack the VX-I thats on there now onto my Zastava 223.

Had some plans for a new super computer too..

Don`t want to bite into junior`s private school fund though.

I got a quote from the dentist today: $3031...

Suffice to say, all the above is on the back burner for now.

I`ve got to fix these teeth, I`m sick of writhing in agony cause I`ve been too cheap - scared...

I rushed around to get my Savage .308 sorted, loads worked out etc...

Hadn`t loaded .308 for a while, jeez a 500 gram jug of powder goes nowhere, bought projectiles today for last trip to range, oops, they shut at 12, and I`m not going to have enough powder barely to make rounds after these range trip jobs!

Eeek!

Tear into the shop, $250 for a 4kg jug of 2206H... Okay then..

I call out west tonight, I`d planned a lightning trip to check...
