Gun range.

Talked to my buddies at work today about what day to join the local gun range. Since they are closed on Mondays and I don't get my stuff till this weekend, we decided to join next Tuesday the 29th.

The range is about 5-10 miles outside of town. Offers indoor pistol, skeet, trap, 5 stand. For the outside rifle, they have two ranges, one is a 60 yard and the other can go up to 300. Sadly, the range is kinda cramped so rifle people get priority in the morning then if anyone wants to shoot trap ect, they have to come up. It's the only option we have.

We toured it a few weeks ago and was impressed with how clean and the facilities are quite good.

To help on gas, we are car pooling as much as possible. Since two of us live on one side of town and three on the other, we've split up into two cars. Each person takes a turn when we car pool.

I'm thinking of taking off a couple mornings a month to have a serious rifle session. I have no problem getting there early on weekends but I'm sure others have that idea. For the first time when I'm sighting in my rifles, I would like to have one of the rifle ranges to myself because I'm gonna have to start in close and work my way out.

I've never shot trap with a machine before, should be quite exciting. Ugh, another day down. They are calling for rain 3/4 days left this week including Friday. So sick of the damn rain. Every week it rains at least two days.
