As most of you know, I've been injured, partially healed, moved , changed jobs, and had to put my grip business on hold for an unknown time period. We still haven't gotten "moved in" ie: unpacked\organized in our new place, and tonight we went shopping for a new mattress and a few odds and ends.
As large and important as a mattress purchase is, all night I've just been sort of "drifting"-I can't seem to focus on the task at hand and I really don't care. I just feel like I'm watching a boring sitcom that I don't like anyway. Has this ever happened to you guys\gals? It may well be just sheer exhaustion as I've been working 10-14 hrs a day for 6 days at a shot for 5 weeks now and I'm fried. The hours aren't all that bad, but I haven't had to deal with "The Public" for a long time and a lot has changed since the last time I held this position-people are much more impatient, demading, and flat-out ruder than they used to be. We're looking for help but the job pool is extremely, ahem, "scummy". I haven't fired a gun since I started and I'm going through withdrawals, but I'm too tired to pursue it.

it sounds like you are in shock from all the changes you have gone through.
earlier this year i was in a funk and eventually it just went away.
i didnt even want to go shooting.
i MADE myself go and had a great time.
so this is my advice .
get off your ass and force yourself to go do something you know you like even if you dont want to.
let me know if this helps ok buddy?
