Great Trip

Just back from a trip to Asia, then went through the Juneau and Ketchikan areas of Alaska.
What a beautiful trip ! Could almost move up there if I ran across some $ and could convince the wife that I was meant to be a floatplane pilot and away from the big city. Still pretty cold (50 F), but the scenery was simply breathtaking. It's summer, though, and the rain kind of held off for alot of the trip.

I'd go for it when you can--the scenery along the coast is simply breathtaking and we got kinda lucky with the weather (although the weather can get cold and rainy--they do get alot of rain along the coast). Anchorage is cool too; we usually overfly KTN and Juneau on the way up to ANC--it was really nice to see up close again. It was still pretty chilly (40's-mid 50's). August and Sept are usually pretty good in ANC.Posted 06-14-2008 at 09:01 PM by TXplt

The wife and I did an Alaskan Cruise for our Honeymoon, we are going to do an Asia Cruise for our 10 year. I highly recommend the Alaskan CruisePosted 07-08-2009 at 03:17 PM by TargetGunFan
