Well I got tired of putting my guns loosely in the back of the car trunk every time I go to the range so I built this off of plans from

Not bad; simple and quick. Question; Did you drill 2" circles in the board and then rip it in half giving you two equal pieces? If you ever make something else similar do that and it will give you a better look.Posted 11-26-2007 at 05:49 PM by SPOCAHP ANAR

yes, I drilled the holes then cut it in half. it turned out good except for when I cut the slots in the base board with the router. the router is on a table which has a 3" cut out in the middle of the back board to hook up a vacuum for dust control, and the board kept slipping in to the hole and making the cut crooked.Posted 11-27-2007 at 02:48 AM by Zephri
