How long

Hi guys... Just wanted to pick your brains... I have this 1964 Fred Bear recurve bow and I was woundering how long you can leave it strung for without do any damage... I have a bad back it it was not the easiest thing for me to do... String it that is!

when your not using it, it is best to keep it unstrung.

you sure your stringing it the right way? I got several old recurve bows and there not bad doing it the right way.

Thanks guys... My wife helped me! It wasn't as hard if I could keep two hands on the bow!...That way she could just slip the string off... I could never do it that way Rightous. My back would not take the twisting... I use a bow stinger... Thanks again guys!
