Proper way to do it? Just got one and any help on how to break down etc. would be appreciated.

Y'all just forget I asked.

Maybe in my next life I will take a liking in something that is more interesting to the masses.

I requested a manual from Browning anyway today, hope to find out answers there.

Sorry not to be able to help. Most of us tend to buy lower end guns, or higher end versions of the same. Most of us tend to stick to military style rifles for semi-auto and manually operated guns for hunting. In PA you can't hunt with a semi-auto. I wanted a BAR for a while intending to do a "freakish conversion" as I call my ideas for making a drastic change to an existing product.
