Browning Buckmark

Thought I'd post this, and maybe they'll make it a sticky. I keep getting asked for this, and I'm afraid I'm gonna lose it.

Looks like they have a new manual out. I'll see if I can find it.

BuckMark .22

I just bought one of these, first time I have bought a new Browning. It's the 5.5 barrel half chrome model mfg in 09. Dead on right out of the box. This was unbelievable. Fired about 100 Rounds through it and its like it can't miss the 10 spot. If you have the cash don't hesitate. Mine Was $309 out the door worth every penny.

Sort of an old post but I have the Buck Mark Micro bull barrel. It is just as accurate. Thanks for the manual! What's your favorite ammo for it? I have some Federal Champ and some CCI Mini Mags.

Thanks Steve - I have had one for a long time but misplaced the book. I haven't fired mine a lot, but when I do fire it, it never gives a problem.

My slightly modified buckmark.

I wanted the Buckmark silhouette model when I was in Hawaii, but they are banned as assault pistols, so I got the varmit model. I have a few other barrels like the 4" camper and 5.5 target. I tried to mount a Volquartsen barrel on it, but it did not fit in the frame properly, the barrel lug was shaped differently and the scope mount provided did not match up to the holes drilled/tapped in the barrel. To add insult to injury, Volquartsen refused a refund after I returned the barrel until I told them I was going to reverse the charge on my credit card.

I have put thousands of rounds through mine, so the 10 inch barrel is a bit worn out and the bigger groups (1" at 50 yards) show it. My favorite ammo is T-22, perfect combo in price, velocity (subsonic) and accuracy.

The silencer is nearly as nice as some of the better commercial 22lr cans out there. It comes apart for cleaning and is all aluminum except for the barrel adaptor and blast baffle.

Buckmark

Just bought one used with low mileage on it with the box and instructions. The only thing I had to do with it is replace the buffer which got hard and brittle and broke in half probably due to oil residue left on it after cleaning. Got mine for $275.00. One of the best investments I've ever made. Got it with a red dot and mount but took it off cuz I am steadier and more accurate with the blade sights. Reliability in function is superb. It even helped me get first place in the rimfire competetion that I shoot monthly for the first time in 2 yrs. I originally wanted the Contour URX but have never been able to save up enough for it. Couldn't pass this deal up when it came along. I can always upgrade the grips to the Contour style and replace the sights with fiber-optic ones later but for now it's a sweet deal!
