5m-1965 standard weight b model is an american browning produced by remingtonfrom 1940thru 1947 similar to remington model 11 but with magazine cutoffand different engraving.aprox. 38000 manu. got this info from the blue book of gun values. decent enough guns not collectors just good shooters. some parts will interchange most wont good luck and enjoy God Bless Sam
