| Joke's On Me!
I've been in CA since June. Yesterday my Texas Concealed Handgun License arrived. Figures.

That is a little ironic, but you should not have a problem getting a CA CCW living in Bakersfield. CA is a " may " issue state and it's up to the chief LEO in the county you reside in,and your county runs pretty much like a shall issue state.

I hope so. I want to get settled into the new house this month before I get a license. Then I'll try to get some advice on how to word my letter so I can get a CHL here. The kicker is when I applied for my TX CHL I bought a Kimber Stainless Ultra Carry II for the day my card arrived. Since then its like a $900 reminder that I moved to CA.
