Light Camping

I really only take what i need.
5 rifles 3 handguns, an Igloo full of ice and food, Coleman 2 burner, 10x10 cover, a small bottle of spirits, 5 gals of water..and we sleep in the Exploder...We usually camp when we explore for rocks so we travel light. I rock hunt with my AK usually...illegal aliens and drug runners are known to frequent the areas I camp in..there are signs that warn passers by of these going ons...

I of course take that as a challenge..lol

Nice pic. I miss Tucson. We did many of a "Light" camp in my truck It had a topper on it and was easy to sleep in.

Nice picture. We use to camp that way when the ground wasn't so hard. As the years go by that ground or the back end of an SUV is just getting too hard.

We did some of that camping this summer, light and easy and fun...

While looking at your picture, I could feel the passion for camping edging me on...but the cold of winter is back and I haven't recaptured my enthusiasm for winter camping.

Great Pic Burke. Sleeping in the Explorer? Not for this 6'4"er.
Have you used a blacklite to hunt for those _______ rocks at night?

I have a Jeep Wrangler and a small trailer. We do almost the exact same thing, in eastern Oregon. Just take the bare necessities. No drug runners or illegalse here though.
