| Senior Member | NC Pistol Purchase w/ 03 FFL
A question for you NC dwellers/ I am settled in just fine here in Goldsboro, but I am not sure how this works. If I have a C&R license, do I still need a pistol purchase permit for both C&R pistols or non-eligible pistols?

No one? I had been told that it was a dealer to dealer transfer so you wouldn't need a pistol purchase permit. Well I will tell you what, I will just call the sheriff's office and find out for sure... I will post what I find out guys...

| Depending on where you have your C&R license from it should be ok. because North Carolina does not honor all states firearms permits.

No. If you have an 03 FFl and you purchase an 03 eligible pistol you do not need to have a pistol permit to purchase; you just need to swap the necessary information and log the item into the bound book.
