Less-than-lethal?

Anyone out there carry a less-than-lethal (taser, pepper spray, ect) in addition to a handgun? I used to carry a Kimber guardian angel pepper spray unit before I got my CCW. I'm considering carrying it again so I have a LTL alternative to my pistol.

Nope if I cant handle it with my hands then the threat is obviously high enough for lethal force.

I have the great good fortune to be a gimp, and I walk with a home made cane. It's a 3 foot long oak club in case of assault.
And I also have a variety of sharp pointy things, one of which I always carry.
I usually carry two clean handkerchiefs as well, and always one. I got in the habit of carrying two because I was a school counselor, and somebody was always crying, I don't mean the kids.
I mention the handkerchief because I understand Ted Nugent recommends everybody carry a six gun, a pocket knife, and a clean handkerchief. Oak stick is optional, I guess.

I would carry it. It's good to have options.
I carry a Inferno pepper spray and a knife. I like that the Inferno is a foam rather than aerosol, but the Guardian has better range than either.

I do carry pepper spray when I walk/jog for any dogs or other critters that might want a bite.

If you ever do use lethal force, some idiot lawyer will wonder why you didn't pepper spray the recepient first......since you had it.

That's what concerns me.

Hmm,

I have three immediate options.
I refuse to let let anyone, lay there hands on me.

Avoidance
.380.
.357. or .45.
It all very much depends, on the threats disposition/choice.

My daughter (who works 2nd shift in another city) doesn't want to carry a gun, so I bought her pepper spray. She's OK with that.
Sometimes peppers give me heartburn, so I prefer a .45 all by itself.

A little spray for a nuisance pest is better than jail in many jurisdictions. I can handle spray in the left hand and my XD in the right if need be. And Zantac works for the heartburn.
