Confession Time - I'm Pretty Embarrassed...

Hi All, This is embarrassing... I went and got involved in rifles - that Mosin M44 to be exact, and since I never owned a rifle before, I gave all my attention over to shooting it, and to squirrel hunting once it came in. I totally neglected to practice with my handguns for a number of months. It's not that I didn't know I needed to, not that I forgot - it's just that I did what I'd rather do at this point. It got up to something like 63* today (in Indiana, in January!) and I hauled myself outside to do some practicing. Man, I've slowed down, and I've gotten pretty inaccurate. Good news is that my double action pull doesn't seem to have suffered much, but most of my shots were low and to the right. I settled down and shot a bullseye a few times, and confirmed that I was on target, so I had to slow down even more to make the hits I was trying to make on the shirts I use as targets when I'm out of IPSC style. My point shooting was still pretty OK, but my aimed fire was really hurting. The reloads on the auto seemed to be faster than ever though... wonder how that happened. I think tomorrow I'll go out and shoot some reactive targets of some sort. Some of my groups could have been due to rapid fire and the shirts blowing a bit in the wind. Josh
