| IWB holster question For those using a IWB setup, do you prefer the plastic/steel clip on kind or do you like the ones that snap around your belt? |

| I like the ones with the Plastic/steel clip on the outside. The Galco for my .38 or .44 bulldog snubbies; the Bianchi for G26 or the Sig P220. Both leather. They both work with or without belt.

| I like the clip as well. Some of my pants have a built in web type belt. I've never had a problem with not staying secure. |

| ^^ Don't understand ? Clip goes over pants, under belt for me when I carry like this. Both holster types been very secure when carried. W/belt maybe a little more so.

| Ok--great....whatever works for you Maybe I'm just too fat lol. Mine stays pretty secure with or without belt over top of the clip. The belt does help the gun not "print" as much.

yeah i think if i tuck it in between me and my pants it aint going anywhere. Maybe my dress slacks that have the expanda-waist (greatest invention ever) there might be an issue. I guess the belt going over the clip, hides the clip but i dont see a need for that if you have a long enough shirt | |

| I thought my Don Hume belt clip wouldn't go anywhere. I was setting in a crowded Cafe at noon, and when I got up from the table, the holster and gun goes bouncing across the floor. The only thing I will wear now is ones that have two belt loops for the belt to go through.

I've had good success with the Galco and Bianchi (with clips); with or without belt they stay fairly secure. With the belt they're very secure, but I'm somewhat proactive in not letting my pistol shift too much. Also, I've not upsized my pants so the fit is snug (it helps me think about losing weight). It sounds "almost" funny now save the safety and unconcealed issues. How did you "recover" ?
