I guess the biggest reason I find it odd is that when someone mentions Charles Daly, the LAST thing I think of is military firearms. Older fashioned, medium quality side by side shotguns is what I know CD for.

I guess that "Charles Daly" belongs in the "importers" section, since that's all they've ever done. But to be honest, I can remember a time that they enjoyed an excellent reputation because they were pretty particular and only imported very good shotguns and such from Europe. And some of the old 22's they imported still command a good price.

But KBI has owned it for the last few and now they seem to only import anything that will make a buck.

CD has imported guns that were made by companies who built military weapons or copies of military weapons, such as Zastava, CZ, Armscor, (referring to 1911's) just to name a few. But never did they have a design of their own. I agree with "txfeller" that they should be in an importers section along with EAA, Century, Legacy, and others.
