Awesome, this was one of my first posts!

Thanks for the update TLady and Fyre. I have not picked one up for her yet, but am still considering it. No one seems to stock them around here, and I have not pushed the issue. I know she would love it though.

YES. The Pink Lady is a Nice lightweight aluminum frame revolver. NO Fuss, No Muss. Pull the Trigger and it shoots. NO complicated safetys or hidden hammers, as with semi-auto pistols.
If you want a heavier feel, which absorbs the impact, then get the Off Duty, with a Stainless Frame. No worry about fingerprint stains, as with blued frames.
And if you need a Low Profile Hammer, get the UNdercover, for No snagging on items in the purse.

I always thought a Pink Lady was some kind of intoxicating drink, made with rum or vodka or something. Maybe Slow Gin.....not a gun?????????????????

Hi All, haven't been around much. Life has been keeping me busy lately.

Personally, I have a S&W FeatherLite 38 for my personal defense weapon and love that little gun to pieces. It's light, durable, lower recoil, goes bang every time you pull the trigger and always has one in the pipe. Of course it isn't pink, can't have everything, but it is a good durable little weapon and is a very Lady Friendly CCW revolver. I tuck mine away in the CCW pouch of my purse in it's holster (I recommend a Don Humme)

MrsShooter. I'm part time in the Land of Oppression aka Illinois. Get a Utah CCW and do what we did...buy some good Missouri land and make a lot of trips there where they are more sensible about peeps protecting themselves.

Pink Lady

I own a pink lady and absolutly love it.It's great to shoot, very little recoil, easy to load and unload, very compact and easy to carry. As we all know ammo is a bit hard to find at times but it is getting better.

my wife had one and liked it. we had to sell it(times is tight) but it was a decent pistol. you need to understand that your paying under $500 and its not gonna give you 3 in groups at 50 yds. but it packs enough punch to defend yurself with. on a side note it felt weird going to the range with it. my wife made me fire it first... i got looks.anyway good price on a good little snubby, plus it sells itself to the girlies who usaualy wouldnt think about it.my wife has just chimed in that she hated it b/c it was pink and"metal" and she never would have sold it if it were pink and "black"

Hi, my wife had picked out a SW FeatherLite 38 for her pd weapon also. Like you, she loves that gun. I shot it and think it's a really good choice for her and understand why she likes it so much.

The second one had a bad ejector. Both had to go back to Charter, and both have been/are in the process of being fixed. Charter seems to be aware of the fact that their guns don't hold up under high volumes of firing, so they've got fairly good and timley customer service. All of this aside though, I'm willing myself to go through the gauntlet of issues to buy one of these firearms for myself. They may not be the most durable firearm on the market, but they'll gladly repair anything that goes awry with it, so I'll be purchasing a Pink Lady shortly. I'll have to return at that point and give a full review of the firearm.
It is my opinion that Charter Arms manufactures paint, and places a pistol in there to hold the paint up. ,,,sam.

To thrillbilly. Charter firearms does make The Lavender Lady, but she doesn't come hammerless. The Pink Lady does come hammerless. A local gunshop her in Missouri has both. That lavender is very beautiful. My fiancee wants a 380 auto for personal protection, but im tryn to talk her into one of those..

Well, A short 2 years (!!!) after I started thinking about purchasing one of the Pink Lady's, I finally went through with it. There were several at the gun show this last weekend, so I finally got a chance to examine one. About what I expected, a bit nicer then what I thought it would be actually.

Later that afternoon I heard again how I have yet to buy her a pink revolver, so I figured that was that. Everything being equal, I had a hard time putting down that much cash for .38 that isn't a Smith, but if she shoots it it will be worth it.

Thanks again for everyone's input!
